Safety first
Our commitment to health & safety
A beautiful finish means nothing if the tools aren’t clean. Here is exactly what we do between every guest.
Clean & caring environment
Every metal tool is cleaned, bagged and sterilized in a dry-heat sterilizer after each use. Files, buffers, toe separators and pedicure liners are single-use and opened in front of you. Surfaces and chairs are disinfected between guests, and the air is actively ventilated so you never sit in fumes.
Following Canadian health regulations
We follow York Region Public Health’s personal service setting guidelines and Ontario’s infection prevention standards. Our sterilization log is kept at the desk and you’re welcome to ask to see it. [CLIENT: confirm the inspection/registration wording once York Region has visited]
Elevated sanitation standards
Dry-heat sterilization
Metal implements go through a dry-heat sterilizer, the same standard used for medical instruments, after every single use.
Disposable tools
Anything that can’t be sterilized is single-use: files, buffers, wooden sticks, separators and pedicure bowl liners.
Clean air environment
Source-capture ventilation at each station pulls dust and vapour away before it reaches you or your technician.
Staff training
Every technician is trained in our sterilization routine before their first guest and refreshed every season.
